Development Corridors in Mozambique

The Government of Mozambique established the Spatial Development Program (SDP) to strengthen the capacity and improve processes for planning and management of socio-economic development as well as to contribute to the Regional integration to Southern African Development Community. Proger’s consultancy has two main objectives: searching for development opportunities along the three corridors Lichinga – Pemba, Lubombo and North-South; an evaluation of all technical, transport, environmental, economic and social aspects for the pre-feasibility study for the realization of a railway infrastructure along the North-South Corridor.
