Vicenza Ring Road

Description

The new Vicenza ring road is a work strongly desired by the territory, able to guarantee faster movements and to improve the quality of life of the inhabitants, freeing the residential areas from heavy traffic. Proger’s design solutions brought specific improvements to the route, the configuration of the junctions, the noise barriers and the cycle/pedestrian road network which, through new overpasses and underpasses, stitches up the agricultural and farm fabric. Furthermore, considerable technical problems concerning hydraulic and hydrological aspects of the territory have also been solved.
