Proger Achieves BIM Certification under UNI PdR 74:2019

The result of a digital transformation journey that began twenty years ago

Proger has certified its organisation and multidisciplinary design process using Building Information Modeling methodology in accordance with UNI PdR 74:2019, the national reference standard for assessing the maturity of BIM processes within organisations.

A significant milestone, formally recognising the effectiveness of the management system adopted, the expertise of the specialist working group, the robustness of the company’s technological infrastructure, and its ability to apply digital methodologies to complex projects — with structured, verifiable processes spanning the entire project lifecycle, from information modelling to collaborative data management.

Building Information Modeling is far more than a three-dimensional modelling tool: it is a collaborative process that integrates people, data, time and costs across the entire lifecycle of a built asset. A single shared digital model enables all disciplines to work simultaneously, and upon project completion, evolves into a digital twin supporting predictive maintenance and long-term asset management. This systemic, cross-disciplinary vision is fully aligned with Proger’s DNA as an integrator of competencies — capable of managing multidisciplinary complexity with a holistic perspective, ensuring transparency, consistency and quality at every stage of the project.

As Gianni Pietrolungo, BIM Manager at Proger, notes: “This certification is the result of collective effort and a shared vision with company leadership, rooted in a journey that began twenty years ago — long before BIM became a regulatory requirement. Proger understood early on the scale of the digital transformation underway in the construction sector and made a deliberate choice to build a dedicated internal organisation, developing a design culture oriented towards collaboration and data integration. This recognition is therefore not a destination, but the validation of an already mature journey and the foundation from which to keep growing.”
