Proger continues to pursue environmental sustainability issues (specifically water and energy), minimum environmental criteria (CAM) applied to stations, and environmental and land protection within the scope of executive projects of the Messina – Catania – Palermo, Salerno – Reggio Calabria railway section and the Catania railway node. These same major infrastructure projects have also been the subject of complex and detailed environmental studies aimed at minimising the environmental, water and energy impact of the huge construction sites, thanks to solutions based on the extensive use of renewable energy and water recycling.
