NEW PROGER OFFICE IN VILLA D’AGRI
Our company’s new office has been inaugurated in Basilicata
Our company has opened a new office in Villa d’Agri – Marsicovetere, in the province of Potenza; the office, of about 300 sq.mt., is located in a two-floor building, recently built in via Roma.

Proger started to work in Basilicata since 1998, mainly as a consequence of the blanket order for Muldisciplinary Engineering services signed with Eni San Donato Milanese.
Moreover, in 2004-2005 our company was in charge of the seismic upgrading of the hospital structures of Villa d’Agri, while in 2006 it was in charge of the reconversion project of the University Campus of Matera: it was located in an old abandoned hospital and required important architectural changes and relevant structural and anti-seismic interventions.
Simultaneously, with reference to the Oil & Gas Sector, Proger has been entrusted with several multidisciplinary engineering services, directly managed by the technicians of the main offices, till 2008, year in which the company has been awarded with the “Debottlenecking Gas Phase 1” project related to the development of the Val d’Agri Oil Centre and has opened an office in Villa d’Agri with the aim of supporting and assisting the Client (ENI) in the strategic development phase of the field, still considered one of the most important in Europe.
In the same period, our company started to work for Total, with a civil engineering service contract relating to the development of the “Tempa Rossa Project”, an oilfield located in the upper Sauro valley, in the heart of the Basilicata region.

When in 2009-2010 Eni has “frozen” the Val d’Agri Project due to strategic choices, Proger has ensured continuity of employment to its employees, by involving a group of local professionals in a project in Kazakhstan, for activities in the Kashagan offshore field, in the Caspian Sea, Island “D”. in recent years the company started again to work with continuity in Val d’Agri, on the basis of a Multidisciplinary Engineering Blanket Order and an Environmental Contract, with ENI DIME (Distretto Meridionale) with the aim of remaining ENI’s trusted engineering company committed for the 5 forthcoming years in the Strategic Development Projects of the Val d’Agri Oil Centre.
Finally, it is just in these days the award of a three-year framework agreement with Total for environmental activities in support of the "Geosciences Division", including verification of subjection and impact assessment for two exploration permits in Basilicata and Calabria regions.

Starting from the upcoming December, the person in charge of this office will be Antonio Sbaraglia, who has been working for Proger since 1995, Project Manager and Technical Manager of Caspian Proger in Kazakhstan from September 2014 till present. He will succeed Nicola Simionato, who has worked in Val d’Agri for a year and a half, managing the activities related to the blanket orders with ENI DIME; Nicola succeeded Michele Parruti, responsible for the office in Val d’Agri from 2010 to 2013.
