PROGER AND ITS PLANETS
The importance of the company’s network
in its global growth project

by Mauro Della Giovampaola, International Development & Coordination Office Director.

Proger has become a worldwide successful Engineering & Management Services Company. To realize this, we can simply visit our website: the titles of the undergoing and under development activities and the numbers on the charts, related to turnover and personnel, attest our presence in the main international markets.

The awareness of the goals achieved till now and of the important challenges that the “foreign market” has reserved to our company, has led to the implementation of the New Organizational Model, in force since the beginning of 2015: this has seen the combination of Proger’s history and experiences together with the need of exporting its own know-how and company’s sensibility even in far away countries, both for tradition and culture.

Today we are in 12 countries and the short-term development perspectives foresee that this number is likely to increase significantly. All this has been possible thanks to the remarkable adaptability and organizational skills that our company has demonstrated in this sector, and to the professionalism and experience of its “pioneers” able to establish and manage, in a very short time, the operational structures (the planets) perfectly integrated with the realities of the countries in which they have been developed, but in constant connection with the headquarter.

The ability demonstrated by Proger in acquiring new international businesses and the quick request by the marketplace in their development has immediately highlighted the strategic importance of the new company’s network concept, namely the need of a “Proger 2.0”, where the certified and regulated communication between the headquarters and its planets allows to make available its own resources and company’s policies to the internationalization project.

With reference to the company’s network, one of the main tasks of the IDCO is to “reduce” the distances between the headquarters and the foreign Branches and Legal Entities, by facilitating and coordinating the exchange process, sharing of documents, information and company’s policies. In short, the IDCO represents the operational tool to be used by managers and colleagues of the foreign branches, as support in the development of its own activities and as the quickest connection tool with corporate and Governance functions.

I am sure the sharing of the results and experiences gained in the various parts of the world where Proger works, even through a fundamental tool such as the company’s intranet, shall contribute enormously to our company and to its global growth project.
