Vietnamese Pavilion at EXPO 2015

Overview

The Pavilion theme is the lotus, Vietnam’s national flower and symbol of purity and optimism. The exhibition space is centered within a lotus pond and is shaded by large lotus pod structures clad in bamboo. These shade structures accommodate trees that provide further shade for the people below. Proger was commissioned to act as General Contractor by the Vietnamese Government for the design and the construction of the Vietnam Pavilion, based on the concept developed by Vo Trong Nghia Architects.
