Proger's choice

Proger has decided to face, spontaneously and in total autonomy, the challenge related to the valorisation and reporting of its sustainability performance, analysing social, environmental and corporate governance issues through a path of integrated monitoring, execution and analysis of its activities and related impacts.

The decision to undertake this path has a clear intent: to generate value in a long-term perspective, leveraging the principles of efficiency, equality, flexibility, inclusion, transparency and sustainability, principles that characterise the company’s strategic vision.

Letter to the Stakeholders

Dear Stakeholders,
we have defined the Sustainability Report 2021 as a starting point: a report capable of providing an effective, objective and transparent snapshot of the company’s performance from an economic, environmental and social perspective.

The first ESG rating obtained placed the company in the High Performance range (Sustainability Rating Report issued by Cerved: BBB). This result has delighted us and, above all, has encouraged us to promote the values that represent the sustainability objectives of Proger, which has always been committed to a process of continuous improvement in its social and environmental impact, in an increasingly conscious and structured manner.

The year 2022 saw the consolidation of this process in a more systematic and organised way. We have launched a full-fledged sustainability plan, a project led by a committee and an ESG manager to promote and achieve the sustainability goals defined by the company.

The mission given to the project by the Board of Directors is to merge “development and sustainability” into a single value, with the aim of improving the quality of life of people, starting with the men and women who work with Proger and ending with the promotion of a corporate culture inspired by the principles of social responsibility (environmental, social, economic and governance).

We decided to celebrate the end of 2022 with a corporate convention inspired by this new phase, which combines corporate growth with social, community and environmental growth. On this occasion, we launched a corporate commercial in which a beautiful little girl, representing the Proger of the future, meets the “Proger Engineer”, our history, who stimulates her curiosity with a beautiful phrase by Picasso: “Everything you can imagine is real… Try!” The little girl draws our logo: for the first time, sustainability appears among the 5 founding pillars and our projects magically take flight in the splendid setting of Palazzo Farnese in Caprarola, with the voice of the narrator relaunching our claim: “Proger, we design the future”

The 2022 Sustainability Report is the result of this project. A report that, this time, is analytical and detailed about the results achieved and the objectives to be achieved; a document that contains a detailed analysis of all the global standards for sustainability reporting (GRI parameters) and an analytical comparison with the values of 2021.

A Sustainability Report that is much more than a “simple balance sheet”: not only an audit report and a final balance of the results achieved, but also a corporate policy document that enhances and systematises the set of initiatives that Proger has undertaken and intends to undertake in the field of social and environmental responsibility, in order to guide the sustainable development strategy that will lead our further growth path.
