Kazakhstan

Proger was among the forerunners of Italian companies to explore the Kazakhstan market, opening the local company Caspian Proger LLP Engineering & Consulting in 2002.

Over the years we have been involved in some of the most important projects, providing engineering services to major international oil companies operating in Kazakhstan.
Proger’s success is related, among other things, to its engineering activities for the Kashagan and Karabatan projects with over 80 specialized technicians involved.

In 2014 Proger relaunched the activities on Kazakh territory and, to meet the needs of the market relating to ongoing projects for KPO and NCOC consortiums, has opened a new office in Atyrau. Today it has more than 50 professionals, of which 40 are local, performing engineering and management services both for local projects and for other clients in Russia, Uzbekistan and Bulgaria such as Gazprom, Lukoil, Tecnimont, Gazli.

The latest acquisition involves a major five-year framework contract with NCOC. The agreement, with an estimated amount of up to US$20 million, covers the provision of multidisciplinary engineering, project management and project support services within the Kashagan offshore and onshore facility.
