Industrial catering centre “Sammartini”
Overview
The new “Sammartini” is the largest industrial catering centre in Italy. The production is completely computerized and entrusted to advanced machines capable of preparing 10,000 meals a day to serve 86 schools in Milan. The project involved the total restructuring and functional adaptation of an abandoned industrial building to house on the ground floor the new catering centre, which replaced four old ones.
