The building was built in the 1960s by arch. Moretti, based on the masterplan by arch. Piacentini relating to the EUR district project. Since the building is listed by the Superintendence of the Municipality of Rome Capitol, the existing load-bearing skeleton was entirely maintained, as well as the original curtain-wall facades. Proger provided all the engineering services for the design phase and work supervision for the total functional and regulatory, civil and plant engineering redevelopment, in order to achieve the highest standards of functional efficiency and LEED BD+C v4 energy certification with Gold level.
